Tavis is an award-winning veteran Psychology tutor with classroom experience across GCSE, A-Level and university-level Psychology, Social Sciences, and Counselling Theory & Skills. He has a PhD in Psychological Research and an MSc in Cross-Cultural Psychology, both from Brunel University, as well as an MEd from the University of Aberdeen and an MA in Gender, Sexuality & Culture from Birbeck University of London. Furthermore, Tavis is a qualified teacher with QTLS, in addition to being an accredited and insured counsellor with experience supporting vulnerable students, learners with learning disabilities, and mature learners.

Dr Leonard is the founder of several tuition and EdTech companies, including The Profs, Spires and BitPaper, and is ex-Vice President of JP Morgan. The online tutoring technology and methods he has helped to pioneer have now been adopted by thousands of tutors around the world. Dr Leonard also has a Master’s and PhD in Finance, both from Imperial College London, and has previously lectured on Finance, Statistics, Econometrics and more at two of the best business schools in London. In addition to being an expert in his subjects, he has also successfully supported students with applications to top universities and several of his students have gone on to secure leading roles in Finance, Business and Politics.

Dr Chin is a full-time Engineering, Maths and Science tutor. He has a Master’s and PhD in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London and has studied and taught in the UK for more than 15 years. Dr Chin has successfully supported junior PhD and Master’s students with research, exams, theses and more, as well as tutoring school-level students in Maths and Science subjects. He is also an excellent communicator and mentor to his students, offering advice and guidance based on his experience and track record of success.

Dr Michael is a former UCL Lecturer, published author, and highly experienced English and admissions tutor. He has a Master’s degree and a PhD in English Literature from the prestigious US university, Princeton, and was both a Lecturer at UCL and an Assistant Professor at the State University of New York. Dr Michael has extensive experience teaching university-level students on a one-to-one basis and has supervised several MA dissertations and PhD students. He also served as an admissions tutor for the English department at UCL for two years and handled admissions for one of the most popular Humanities MAs in London. Throughout his career, Dr Michael has also written extensively for publications such as The Times Literary Supplement, The New Statesman, and The Observer, as well as having a book published by Oxford University Press in 2013.

Rhys is an experienced, full-time Languages and Linguistics tutor. He has a first-class Bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages with Linguistics from the University of Oxford and has been tutoring with The Profs for more than four years. Rhys specialises in Spanish and Linguistics tuition at both school and university-level. He has also successfully supported students applying to top UK universities, including Oxbridge, Edinburgh, Bristol, and more, helping them prepare for admissions tests including the MLAT, OLAT and CLAT for Oxford, and Cambridge’s MML and Linguistics admissions assessments.

Lilian is a first-class 5th-year medical student at the University of Oxford with a wealth of experience in helping students gain admission to top universities, like Oxbridge, for degrees in Medicine, Public Health, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences. Lilian holds a BM BCh Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery qualification, as well as a Distinction for her MSc in Global Health Science and Epidemiology (with 75% in her thesis) and a First in her BA (Hons) in Medical Sciences from Oxford. Lilian specialises in preparation for written applications, interviews (including Medicine interviews in particular), and Medical admission tests, like the BMAT and UCAT. She also tutors GCSE sciences, A level Biology, and university-level science. Elma is an exceptional Design and Technology teacher with over 16 years of experience, holding a BA (Hons) in Architecture and a PGCE in Secondary Design and Technology. She specialises in teaching a wide range of subjects, including GCSE Design and Technology, Graphic Design, Product Design, Photography, Architecture, and BTEC Level 3 Construction, with a focus on Architectural units. Elma's teaching style is highly adaptive and resourceful, tailored to meet the individual needs of her students, ensuring that they reach their full potential. Her commitment to excellence is reflected in her consistent success, driven by high expectations, personalised support, and a collaborative approach with faculty and parents. In addition to her subject expertise, Elma is skilled in various design software, including Photoshop, Google SketchUp, Onshape, and Illustrator, enabling her to provide comprehensive guidance in research, creative idea generation, technical knowledge, and exam preparation.
