Tavis is an award-winning veteran Psychology tutor with classroom experience across GCSE, A-Level and university-level Psychology, Social Sciences, and Counselling Theory & Skills. He has a PhD in Psychological Research and an MSc in Cross-Cultural Psychology, both from Brunel University, as well as an MEd from the University of Aberdeen and an MA in Gender, Sexuality & Culture from Birbeck University of London. Furthermore, Tavis is a qualified teacher with QTLS, in addition to being an accredited and insured counsellor with experience supporting vulnerable students, learners with learning disabilities, and mature learners.

Dr Bess has been a professional Arts and Humanities teacher and tutor for more than two decades. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Design and East Asian Studies from the University of Kansas, two Master’s degrees from the School of Visual Arts (New York) and University of the Arts London (UAL), and a PhD from the University of West England, Bristol. Dr Bess has successfully supported students with essays, theses and dissertations at top UK universities and provides academic support at undergraduate and postgraduate level. She also equips students with the skills needed to succeed in higher education, including academic writing techniques, time and project management, and research skills within the Arts.

Dr. Carmen is a top-rated tutor with over 9 years of experience teaching and mentoring students from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Special Educational Needs (SEN) students to undergraduate and PhD levels in Psychology, Education, and Public Health. She holds a PhD in Public Health from Swansea University, where her research focused on the physiological and psychological childbirth factors affecting mother-infant wellbeing. Dr. Carmen also completed an MSc in Child Public Health and earned a merit in Research Methods in Psychology at Swansea University. Her extensive qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Hypno-Psychotherapy and a PGCE in Primary Education. A proactive and dynamic educator, Dr. Carmen is known for her innovative teaching methods and high student success rates. She has presented at prestigious conferences such as the British Medical Journal Conference and the Royal Society of Medicine COVID-19 Series.

Lucia has been tutoring for more than 13 years. She has two Master’s degrees: one in Management Science (specialising in Applied Statistics) from LSE and another in Applied Mathematics from the University of Buenos Aires. Lucia has also worked in Data Science for more than 6 years and has been an Assistant Professor at several universities. She has successfully tutored students in subjects ranging from Machine Learning to Coding, and covers multiple programming languages, including Python, R, and SPSS.

Dr Jenny is a highly qualified and experienced teacher and private tutor. She has a rich and multidisciplinary education, including a Bachelor’s degree in French and English, a Master’s in Linguistics, a PhD in Ancient Greek, and a postdoctoral diploma in Religious Studies. Dr Jenny has over 40 years’ teaching experience in schools and universities across the UK and abroad, specialising in Ancient and Modern Languages, English, and Religious Studies/Theology. She has a track record of helping all of her students improve their grades and achieve success in their exams.

Dr Laurie is an experienced International Relations tutor. She has two Master’s, one in Modern History from the University of St Andrews and one in International Conflict Studies from King’s College London, and also completed her PhD in International Relations at King’s College. Dr Laurie has successfully supported students at school and university-level and covers a range of topics, including War Studies, International Relations, Government and Politics, and more. She also helps students with essay-writing, research projects, and developing the critical thinking and study skills necessary for further education.

Cecily has been tutoring for three years. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Abnormal and Clinical Psychology. Cecily is currently studying for a PhD in Clinical Medicine at Imperial College London. Her tutoring specialisms include Psychology, Health Psychology, Academic Writing and dissertation support. She has taught and supervised BSc and MSc students in the Division of Psychiatry at Imperial College London. Cecily also has classroom teaching experience with 3-13-year-olds, focussing primarily on Maths and English.
