This year saw remarkable success stories, from undergraduates improving their degree classifications to those securing first-class honours. Here’s the breakdown:
First-Class Results Across the Board
Our surveyed undergraduate students experienced significant academic success. In 2025:
- 93% achieved a grade improvement.
- 96% of those starting on a 2.2 were awarded a 2.1.
- 85% of those starting on a 2.1 achieved a first.
- 57% of undergraduate students achieved a first-class.
Notably, just 3% of these students were on track for a first before working with The Profs. These figures demonstrate the value of high-level academic support, especially for students working towards competitive postgraduate pathways and graduate roles. In fact, research shows that graduates with a 2.1 earn on average £300,000 more over their lifetime than those with a 2.2, while those who secure a first can unlock even greater earning potential.
