To get in to study one of Imperial College London’s undergraduate Maths courses, including their BSc in Mathematics, you will need A*A*A in A level, with A*s in both Maths and Further Maths. General Studies and Critical Thinking cannot be your third A. The same conditions apply to joint Maths and Computer Science courses. For the entry requirements for International Baccalaureate and other A level alternatives, go to Imperial’s site here. You also have to sit the MAT (Mathematics Admissions Test) and you will likely need a score above 50, which tends to be the average. To get your A levels up to Imperial’s standards, you could benefit greatly from working with a tutor who already teaches Maths at the highest levels. The Profs’ A Level Tutors are hand-picked from top university-level academics around the country and are so helpful that 81% of our students achieve a grade increase in their final examinations. We also have specialist MAT Tutors, who can take you through the syllabus, help sharpen your skills and prepare you fully for the day of the test.
