When do Oxford Offer Interviews?

If you are successful in getting an interview for the University of Oxford, you will receive a letter or email of invitation, usually between the middle of November and early December. This only gives you at most a month’s notice before your interview will take place, given that Oxford schedule their interviews for early to mid-December. You will receive an invitation from the college you applied for, or, if you sent an open application, or were reallocated, it may come from any college. Receiving an interview is dependent on a stellar application including excellent predicted grades and an outstanding personal statement. As the pool of applicants shrinks, passing the interview presents an even greater challenge. The national average acceptance rate for Oxbridge is only 18%. For those that choose to get support from The Profs’ specialist team of Oxbridge Admissions Tutors, the acceptance rate is more than triple at 55%. Given the short time span from invite to interview, be sure to make the most of your preparation: contact The Profs today.
