I have tutored over 150 hours in Oxbridge Admissions, Government and Politics A level (Pearsons), and Sociology A level (AQA) to students of mixed abilities. I have a track record of empowering students struggling with subject content and exam technique to regain a love for their subjects, feel motivated and achieve their predicted grade or higher. I also have proven success working with very able students helping them explore specialist interests and nurture their academic ambition. One highlight was mentoring a Cambridge applicant from an access background who felt extremely daunted by the application process and had very little self-belief. Over several months we developed her personal statement, honed her essay writing, practiced critical thinking and interview skills. Not only did she receive an offer, she developed confidence which has allowed her to excel at university.

Alongside private tutoring, I designed and developed a Politics and International Relations for Oxford Scholastica Academy. I led eight weeks of online teaching for international students ages 12-18 years, teaching daily lessons, setting and marking homework and providing a detailed report.

Whilst a student at St Catharine's College, Cambridge, I volunteered as a student ambassador and led mock supervisions for prospective applicants. I also spent my summers working as a mentor for CL Global's Cambridge Summer Academic Programme, delivering cultural enrichment activities and masterclasses to 60 Chinese undergraduate students.
