About
Dr David is a highly qualified History teacher and experienced tutor. He has a Master’s in History and Politics from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in British Political History from Queen Mary University of London. Dr David has more than 25 years’ teaching experience at leading UK independent schools and has been Head of Department as well as an examiner during his career. He specialises in GCSE, A level and IB History tuition and university admissions preparation, including Oxbridge History admissions tests, the HAA and HAT, and university interviews.

I have taught History for twenty five years as a teacher, Head of Department and Deputy Head Academic in leading UK independent schools. My subject areas cover the full range of GCSE, IGCSE, A level and IB courses. Having served as a tutor with students across the secondary age range, I am experienced in providing academic guidance on many issues to support the building of confidence and resilience.
