About
Katie is a specialist IELTS tutor with more than 8 years of experience teaching English as a foreign language. She has a Master’s in Politics from the University of Edinburgh as well as a CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). Katie also gained an International House Business English Certificate in Spain and worked in language schools and businesses in Seville and Madrid. As the standard requirement for the IELTS has increased over the last few years, Katie has helped her students to improve their scores and meet the level of excellence required by the UK’s top universities.

Experience
I've been teaching EFL for just over eight years. I gained a CELTA and latterly the International House Business English Ceritficate in Spain and worked there in language schools and businesses in Seville and Madrid.
Returning to London, I have been extremely busy working with the international community here across numbers nationalities, tutoring in general English and IELTS preparation.
