I have a wide range of teaching and tutoring experience, most of which was at the University of Cape Town and some of which was at the University of Oxford, as well as some volunteer teaching. My student feedback has generally been very positive and I have scored well-above average in student evaluations. I once even got a standing ovation!

Lecturing Experience

1st year Game Theory: taught half of a full course during an intensive summer term to 100-150 students (standing ovation for this one!)

1st year Microeconomics: taught half of a full course during an intensive summer term to 100-150 students

2nd year Quantitative Methods: taught mathematical methods and econometrics to a class of 300+ students, some with BA backgrounds and some with actuarial science backgrounds

2nd year Public Economics: designed a full curriculum and taught half of it to a class of about 150 students

2nd year History of Economic Thought: taught a few weeks to a class of about 100 students focusing on the 19th and 20th centuries

Master's Applied Microeconomics: designed the curriculum and taught a class of 20-25 students

Master's Industrial Policy: designed the curriculum and taught a class of 20-25 students

Tutoring Experience

Semester abroad: one-on-one tutoring for students from the USA at Oxford
