Dr Arjun has been a full-time tutor for more than a decade. He has a Master’s in Mathematics from the University of Bath and completed his PhD at the University of Sheffield. Dr Arjun has successfully supported students with preparation for admissions tests including the SAT, GMAT and GRE, as well as on Mathematics and Statistics courses at top universities, including LSE, King’s College London, and Oxford. In addition to being an expert in his subject, Dr Arjun encourages students to find their own interests and equips them with the tools to enhance their own knowledge and self-confidence throughout their education.

Dr Don is a highly experienced, full-time Economics, Mathematics, Philosophy and Psychology tutor. He has two Master’s degrees in Mathematics (from the University of Cambridge) and Philosophy (from UCL), as well as two PhDs from UCL and the University of London, and more than 11 years’ tutoring experience. Dr Don has successfully supported students with applications to Oxbridge and has tutored university students at Oxbridge, LSE and Harvard. He adopts a personalised approach to tutoring his students and encourages them to build on their strengths and develop the necessary skills for higher-level study.

Dan has been teaching for more than a decade. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a Master’s in Finance from Imperial College London and has a wide range of specialisms, including Statistics, STATA, Finance, Mathematics, and Econometrics. In addition to being an expert in his subjects, Dan helps students with applications for top UK universities, including LSE, Durham, Bristol, UCL and Warwick, with many securing places at their first choice. Dr Amar has been teaching and tutoring for more than 20 years. He studied Economics at Princeton University before completing his PhD in Economics at Stanford University, and is a CFA Charterholder. Dr Amar has a background in Consulting, working for McKinsey & Company and BlackRock, as well as academia, serving as a lecturer for Intermediate Microeconomic Theory and Mathematics for Economists at Stanford University. In his role as a tutor, Dr Amar has successfully supported students with Economics and Finance modules at undergraduate and postgraduate-level, as well as working with professionals in relevant industries to help them develop their skills and qualifications, including the CFA.

Dr Nikhil is a professional consultant and tutor with more than 8 years’ experience working with The Profs. He has two Master’s degrees in Economics and Finance from the University of Cambridge and Imperial College London respectively, as well as a PhD in Financial Econometrics from Imperial. Dr Nikhil has supported professionals and students in a range of quantitative subject areas, including Programming (C++, Java, Python, R, Matlab and SQL), Algorithmic Trading (MQL4, JForex), Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Econometrics, Statistics, and Mathematics for Economics and Finance.

Tavis is an award-winning veteran Psychology tutor with classroom experience across GCSE, A-Level and university-level Psychology, Social Sciences, and Counselling Theory & Skills. He has a PhD in Psychological Research and an MSc in Cross-Cultural Psychology, both from Brunel University, as well as an MEd from the University of Aberdeen and an MA in Gender, Sexuality & Culture from Birbeck University of London. Furthermore, Tavis is a qualified teacher with QTLS, in addition to being an accredited and insured counsellor with experience supporting vulnerable students, learners with learning disabilities, and mature learners.

Sam is a full-time tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with Economic History from LSE. He has a background in Finance and has worked in private equity and asset management at top businesses in London, including Ardian and J.P. Morgan. Lucia has been tutoring for more than 13 years. She has two Master’s degrees: one in Management Science (specialising in Applied Statistics) from LSE and another in Applied Mathematics from the University of Buenos Aires. Lucia has also worked in Data Science for more than 6 years and has been an Assistant Professor at several universities. She has successfully tutored students in subjects ranging from Machine Learning to Coding, and covers multiple programming languages, including Python, R, and SPSS.

Dr Chin is a full-time Engineering, Maths and Science tutor. He has a Master’s and PhD in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London and has studied and taught in the UK for more than 15 years. Dr Chin has successfully supported junior PhD and Master’s students with research, exams, theses and more, as well as tutoring school-level students in Maths and Science subjects. Serena holds a first-class honours degree in Psychology with Mathematics from the American International University in London, accredited by the British Psychological Association. With an MSc and PhD in Financial Mathematics, Efrem has the rare combination of technical expertise and deep communication skills, making it easy for him to build an essential connection between the details of the technical experts and the approach needed by decision-makers. He is passionate about achieving the most efficient results whilst understanding any limitations and/or constraints. Ellen is a proficient tutor with a bachelor's degree from Imperial College London and a Master’s degree from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, where she is currently pursuing her PhD. With over 6 years of tutoring experience, Ellen specialises in tutoring students up to A level in the Sciences, particularly for Medicine entrance exams. Dr Franz is a former Oxford lecturer and experienced private tutor. He has a Master’s in Mathematical Finance and Actuarial Science from Technical University Munich and completed his PhD in Statistics at the University of Oxford. Dr Franz is personally familiar with the Oxford curriculum for Mathematics and Statistics courses and can cover a wide range of topics in Maths, Data Science, and Actuarial Science at university-level. He also works with Boston Consulting Group within Data Science and his unique knowledge combines Artificial Intelligence with a Business angle.
