Sam is a full-time tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with Economic History from LSE. He has a background in Finance and has worked in private equity and asset management at top businesses in London, including Ardian and J.P. Morgan. Sam specialises in tuition for a range of Economics topics at A-level (covering the AQA, Edexcel and WJEC examination boards) and university-level, including History of Economics, Post-War Britain, and North America. He also supports students with university admissions at both undergraduate and postgraduate-level, as well as interview and assessment centre preparation.

Dr Laurie is an experienced International Relations tutor. She has two Master’s, one in Modern History from the University of St Andrews and one in International Conflict Studies from King’s College London, and also completed her PhD in International Relations at King’s College. Dr Laurie has successfully supported students at school and university-level and covers a range of topics, including War Studies, International Relations, Government and Politics, and more. She also helps students with essay-writing, research projects, and developing the critical thinking and study skills necessary for further education.

Chris is a Lecturer in Politics and International Relations at a prestigious London university and an experienced tutor. He holds a PhD in International Relations from LSE, distinction-grade master's degrees from SOAS and LSE, and a first-class undergraduate degree from Cambridge. He has significant experience teaching a range of politics and IR sub-fields, especially IR theory and the international politics of East Asia, and his writing has been published in high-profile academic and journalistic sources. Chris also has experience of successfully supporting many students with postgraduate applications to top UK universities for these subjects, including Oxbridge, and has received consistently excellent feedback from his students.

Dr David is a highly qualified History teacher and experienced tutor. He has a Master’s in History and Politics from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in British Political History from Queen Mary University of London. Dr David has more than 25 years’ teaching experience at leading UK independent schools and has been Head of Department as well as an examiner during his career. He specialises in GCSE, A level and IB History tuition and university admissions preparation, including Oxbridge History admissions tests, the HAA and HAT, and university interviews.
