Graeme is a professional tutor with more than 30 years of experience in the publishing and creative industries. He has a first-class degree in English and French from the University of Edinburgh and has taught Creative Writing at the University of Westminster. Graeme has also worked with international television and film companies, as well as having his writing published in several notable publications, including the Times, the Independent, and Conde Nast Traveller. He has successfully tutored both undergraduate and postgraduate students in a range of creative subjects, including helping with essay-writing and dissertation skills.

Katie is a specialist IELTS tutor with more than 8 years of experience teaching English as a foreign language. She has a Master’s in Politics from the University of Edinburgh as well as a CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). Katie also gained an International House Business English Certificate in Spain and worked in language schools and businesses in Seville and Madrid. As the standard requirement for the IELTS has increased over the last few years, Katie has helped her students to improve their scores and meet the level of excellence required by the UK’s top universities.

Rhys is an experienced, full-time Languages and Linguistics tutor. He has a first-class Bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages with Linguistics from the University of Oxford and has been tutoring with The Profs for more than four years. Rhys specialises in Spanish and Linguistics tuition at both school and university-level. He has also successfully supported students applying to top UK universities, including Oxbridge, Edinburgh, Bristol, and more, helping them prepare for admissions tests including the MLAT, OLAT and CLAT for Oxford, and Cambridge’s MML and Linguistics admissions assessments.
