Jack is an enthusiastic and highly qualified lecturer and private tutor. He has a Master’s in Geology from the University of Liverpool and a PhD in Geology and Environmental Science from Newcastle University, and currently lectures in Earth Science at Edge Hill University. Jack has a wealth of experience tutoring students ranging from GCSE and A-level to postgraduate-level in a range of subjects, including Geography, Geology, and Natural Sciences. He is particularly aware of the individual learning styles of students and works hard to ensure that his one-to-one tutoring sessions are engaging and effective for all of his students.

Dr Sian is a qualified Science teacher and experienced private tutor. She has a Master’s in Physics and a PhD in Atmospheric Physics from Imperial College London, as well as experience working as a secondary school teacher in London. Dr Sian has designed and led undergraduate courses for students on topics including Communicating Science and Energy and Climate Change, as well as supporting postgraduate students with dissertations, data analysis and research projects. She has also supported school-level students with Mathematics and Science tuition, many of whom have gone on to study Physics and Maths at some of the best universities in the UK, including Oxbridge. Dr Sian is passionate about making sure her students feel engaged, supported and interested in their subjects and are prepared for higher level study.

Dr Maxwell is an experienced and enthusiastic Chemistry tutor. He has a Master’s in Chemistry and a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Oxford, during which he also tutored Chemistry and Biochemistry at Magdalen College. Dr Maxwell has taught GCSE, A-level and IB level Chemistry for more than two years and is familiar with the major examination boards, including AQA, Edexcel and OCR. He has also successfully supported both undergraduate and postgraduate-level students with subject tutoring, exam preparation, research projects, and more.
